Pilot Phase & Production Credentials
Once the Acceptance Criteria Testing portion of the project has been passed, your team is ready for Production Credentials and Pilot! The Grubhub team will provide production credentials shortly after QA has been completed. From your team, we will need the Production Webhook URLs and authorization credentials.
Your team should have 15 - 20 locations identified for the Grubhub team to review. The locations should be available on the onboarding spreadsheet shared with your team at least two days in advance of the agreed upon Pilot start date.
Throughout this Pilot phase we will be tracking against the Pilot phase requirements listed below.
Once these requirements have been met, the Grubhub team will confirm you are ready to move into the expansion phase, which allows your team to onboard any additional locations on a structured weekly cadence.
Pilot Success Requirements:
- Average under 3% cancellation rate and 2% POS rejection rate for 14 days
- Reliable and transparent issue triaging from partner team
- 15 to 20 locations
- Launch 3 different brands (if applicable)
- Menu success rate of 95% for 14+ days
- Partner to provide failure reason documentation/accurate error messaging (see screenshot below)
- Grubhub asks its partners to provide a library of relevant error messages and their corresponding GH reason code:
